Substance Use Disorder is an major public health problem that is difficult to treat with devastating effects on the patients and relatives. The main difficulties in treatment process is the termination of oral medical treatment of the patient with poor compliance and the relapse of substance use with increased craving. New alternatives to oral therapy have been developed to treat addiction disease. Subcutaneous Naltrexone pellet is one of the current treatment options in the treatment of alcohol and opioid addiction. Pain, vomiting, dehydration, wound infection and hematoma, itching, local tissue reaction are common side effects reported with naltrexone implants. In this study, two cases of soft tissue infection following naltrexone implant application will be discussed. We think that our study will contribute to the literature regarding the management of complications that may develop due to Naltrexone implants. Keywords:
